Spontaneous QuirK LLC
Privacy Policy

The following Privacy Policy applies to people registering on websites & forums, signing up for newsletters, participating in betas, and playing games developed by Spontaneous QuirK.

When choosing to play Spontaneous QuirK games and participating in the online communities around those games, you may provide certain personally identifiable information, such as a valid email address. “Personal Information” may include, but is not limited to, a user name, your name, email address, or other information that would allow us to identify you or contact you. When playing and participating in the online communities around our games, we may record your user ID and obtain user information from your user account consistent with your privacy settings.

Spontaneous QuirK WILL NOT share your Personal Information with anyone or any organization; your Personal Information WILL NEVER be sold or distributed in any form, or for any purpose, unless approved by you, the account holder. Before we share any of your Personal Information in public or with others playing our games, we will provide you the opportunity to “opt-out” of any such programs. Spontaneous QuirK may use your email only in the manner you have voluntarily agreed to for a minimum level of communication needed to enhance your experience in our Games, Forums or related web sites.

If at any time you indicate that you no longer want to receive communications from Spontaneous QuirK, if you wish to cancel your account, or to change or correct any previously provided Personal Information, you may email the customer service center at support@spontaneousquirk.com and your account and Personal Information will be deleted, changed, or corrected as requested. Only qualified Spontaneous QuirK staff have access to account holder player names, email addresses, and Personal Information.

Spontaneous QuirK may use cookies to track how and when customers use the site. Cookies are pieces of information that a web site transfers to an individual’s hard drive for record-keeping purposes. Cookies make web surfing easier by saving your passwords and other preferences for you. The use of cookies is an industry standard, and you’ll find most major web sites use them. Cookies also help us to see which areas of the site are popular and which are not. We can then improve the site based on this information.

Spontaneous QuirK may also log Internet Protocol (IP) addresses from our users for system administration purposes. We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our servers. Your IP address is also used to help identify you and your playing account. We also collect information about activities while visiting our web sites to enhance and improve our delivery of related services to all of our users. All of this is done without identifying the individual user by user name or email address.

Our website, forums, and newsletter emails may contain links to other 3rd party sites; we are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such sites.

Spontaneous QuirK may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. If you have any questions or comments regarding this Privacy Policy, feel free to contact us at privacy@spontaneousquirk.com.
